}} Nicholas Emery (September 4, 1776–August 24, 1861), of Portland, Maine, was a Justice of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court from October 22, 1834 to October 21, 1841. Born in Exeter, New Hampshire, Emery graduated from Dartmouth College in 1795 and read law to gain admission to the bar. He settled in Parsonsfield, Maine in 1798, moving to in Portland in 1807.
