Numus is a concert presenter/producer based in Kitchener-Waterloo Ontario. The organization was founded in 1985 by composer Peter Hatch who also served as its first Artistic Director. Numus describes itself as a cultural incubator that brings unique new music experiences to adventurous audiences and artistic communities, while focusing on both emerging and established Canadian artists. To date, Numus has had six Artistic Directors throughout its history. These include Peter Hatch, Anne Marie Donovan, Jeremy Bell, Jesse Stewart, Glenn Buhr, and current Artistic Director, Kathryn Ladano.
