Padauk Technology Co., Ltd. ({{zh|t=應廣科技|v=应广科技|p=Yīng guǎng kējì|b=Yingguang-Technologie}}) is a semiconductor company located in Hsinchu and founded in 2005[1]. MicrocontrollersPadauk produces 8-bit microcontrollers. Some of the devices are barrel processors, which gives them the (for low-end microcontrollers) very unusual feature of hardware support for multithreading. Support for hardware multithreading is usually only found in a few larger 32-bit devices, such as the Parallax Propeller and the microcontrollers made by XMOS. Tool supportPadauk provides a freeware IDE "Mini-C", allowing to program the microcontrollers in a simple, C_(programming_language)-like programming language and in Assembly_language[2]. It is also posible to program in assembler using free tools[3]. |
