OverviewPatientory, Inc. is a fully HIPAA-compliant, cybersecurity healthcare data solution that allows users to securely store, transfer and receive actionable insights into their health information. Its enterprise healthcare software aggregates data and provides population health management solutions. It was incorporated in 2015 by Founder/CEO Chrissa McFarlane, and is available on iOS, Android, and on desktop browsers. Patientory, Inc. incorporates a dApp stack and integrates with PTOYNet™ blockchain network and PTOY token administered by the Patientory Association, as well as other blockchains/distributed ledger technologies to secure online medical information across platforms. ProductPatientory, Inc. is free to use on iOS and Android, for consumers. Users receive free data storage, and extra storage can be purchased with PTOY tokens. The Patientory, Inc. system aggregates data from electronic medical records (EMRs) like Epic, Cerner, Allscripts and Meditech and other health related database systems. The Patientory app also syncs patient-generated healthcare data (PGHD) from other health apps and wearable devices, which can be securely shared to any healthcare organization that uses the Patientory dapp software. Patients, clinicians, hospitals and other providers can access full medical records from any in-network EMR, prescription adherence alerts, wearables data, Explanation of Benefits (EOB), and real-time data on the secure network. Users also have the access to a social community feature, which allows patients with similar health conditions to share experiences, ask questions and respond with answers. TechnologyPatientory, Inc. uses a three-tier blockchain architecture to securely move information between data layers. The middle layer allows the platform to interface with existing systems and scale more efficiently off-the-chain. The business logic (smart contracts) flows securely on and off the blockchain. Within this framework, the implementation of modern application services like biometrics and OAuth, real-time data and billing, and personal health insurance information are possible. HistoryPatientory was founded by Chrissa McFarlane in December 2015 in an effort to make a difference in the healthcare sector on a global scale. McFarlane is among the youngest female CEOs in the Healthcare IT industry, and is a highly sought-after global speaker. She has more than ten years’ experience in the healthcare industry conducting research and managing teams. Her passion for healthcare began in high school, where she conducted microbiology research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and won top honors. Later at Cornell University, she worked with organizations such as the US Department of Agriculture. McFarlane has been named as one of the top women “leaving their mark on the medtech field in health IT.” In conjunction with Colorado Permanente Medical Group, Patientory was accepted as an Inaugural cohort to the Boomtown Health Accelerator, where the company also demoed its iOS and Android app in 2016.
