Roberto D'Antona (born June 24, 1992) is an Italian actor and filmmaker.

Life and career

Italian actor, director and comedian Roberto D'Antona^[1] was born in Taranto. At just eleven he began his acting career in numerous short films.^[2] In 2013, he directed and interpreted the TV mini series Johnny, winner of several international awards, including Grand Winners: Best Television Pilot at the California Film Awards.^[3]

For pulp movie Insane (2015) distributed by Brink Vision, which he starred in, D'Antona won the American Movie Awards for Best Supporting Actor.^[4] In the same year, he co-wrote and starred the ghost-movie Haunted, known in Europe as American Poltergeist 7 distributed from ITN Distribution. In 2016, D'Antona and Annamaria Lorusso founded L/D Production Company.^[5] Their first production is the drama television series The Reaping (2016) distributed in various countries by Indie Rights.^{[6] [7]} His movie directorial debut, TheWicked Gift (2017)^{[8] [9]}, which he also wrote and starred, was well received. The movie was distributed in Italy by CG Entertainment^[10] and Movie Planet^[11], while in the rest of the world by MonteCristo International^[12]. He then directed, wrote, and starred in the action horror Fino All'Inferno^[13] (2018), known as Road to Hell. Distributed by CG Entertainment^[14] and Movie Planet^[15] in Italy while in the rest of the world by Shoreline Entertainment^[16].

2019 will be the year of the horror fantasy The Last Heroes^[17], which he directed, wrote, and starred.
