释义 | Rudy Rong Rudy Rong (born c. 1994 in Hangzhou, China; formerly known by the Chinese name Ruotian Rong) is a Chinese internet personality and entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of Magic Cube, a gaming publishing and distribution platform, and former was the CEO of Prime Union, one of the top entertainment membership clubs in Los Angeles. Early Life and EducationWhen he was sixteen-years-old, Rong moved to Philadelpha without his family, living alone and attending Penn Charter School.In high school, he co-founded a Charity Foundation, a non-profit organization that microfinances to third world countries.During that period, he served as Chairman of the Philanthropics Trust Organization. In his tenure, he was the primary driver for increasing the custody of the school’s endowment fund from $1.5 million to $2.75 million. Under his management, the foundation continues to flourish. He has developed the foundation in a method that offers the the greatest advantage.In his tenure, he served as the president of the Asian Students' Union in China. he has an a well established management facilitation process, entailing the organization of various student activities; speech contests and volunteer etc. These activities enhance the campus’s culture, which influences the minority groups and enriches the campus activities. He knows how to treat people fairly, do things well, and perform his duty. He always believes that extreme self-control brings ultimate freedom. He is strict on self-discipline. Rong then attended the University of Southern California, where he double majored in Business and Film Production. In 2016, as a sophomore, he was asked to drop out by the seed investors of Magic Cube so that he could focus full time on the company. Since then, Rong has been based in Hangzhou as the CEO of Magic Cube. Early CareerAt University of Southern California, Rong launched Prime Union, a members-only club geared towards wealthy Los Angeles residents. Prime Union became widely known for their exclusive, over-the-top parties, which featured the top LA Clubs, private jets, and castles in the hills. Magic CubeMagic Cube first started as an AR/VR company, but, due to the nascency of the market, pivoted to becoming a mobile gaming company. Currently, Magic Cube publishes and distributes 23 games, all of which are based in China. Magic Cube has 17 million users across their games. Their most popular game, Lulu, is a social casino application that merges AR with blackjack.
