[1] Biography1995–2014: Early life and career beginningsYaze was born on October 6, 1995 in Arlington County, Virginia. Yaze grew up as a jolly child, particularly throughout his school years. He faced multiple hardships when trying to make friends and be more "socially acceptable". He found ways to combat his hardships by listening to music from the likes of Akon, T-Pain, Drake (musician), Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, J. Cole; giving himself the stage name of Yaze. From the beginning, with the encouragement of a few high school friends, YouTube, Yaze set out to teach himself how to engineer and write his own records, edit his own videos, design his own album covers, script his own websites, and build his brand from the ground up.
