The airport currently does not have any scheduled commercial services and is currently used only by gliders[4] and state government aircraft.[3] however, scheduled services may soon begin to state capital Ranchi under the government's UDAN scheme.[5][6][7] Its expansion is also underway for the commencement of the scheduled services.[8][9] See also
