It blooms between January and February producing inflorescences with white flowers. It grows on sand dunes in the Central Ranges and Great Victoria Desert areas of the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia on the border with South Australia and the Northern Territory where it grows in red sandy soils.[2] See also{{Portal|Trees}}
