|}}Eucalyptus sparsa, commonly known as the northern ranges box,[1] is a mallee that is native to an area on the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia border.[2]

The mallee typically grows to a height of {{convert|3|m|ft|0}} that has rough fibrous flaky bark toward the base that is smooth above. It blooms between January and February producing inflorescences with white flowers.

It grows on sand dunes in the Central Ranges and Great Victoria Desert areas of the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia on the border with South Australia and the Northern Territory where it grows in red sandy soils.[2]
