}}Beaconsfield railway station is a railway station located on the Orbost line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Beaconsfield, opening on 1 December 1879.[2]

Flashing signals were provided at the nearby Station/Goff Street level crossing in 1976.[3] Boom barriers have since been added to the level crossing.

Platforms & services

Beaconsfield has one island platform with two faces. It is serviced by Metro Trains' Pakenham line services.[4]

Platform 1:
  • Pakenham line: all stations and limited express services to Flinders Street
Platform 2:
  • Pakenham line: all stations services to Pakenham

Transport links

Ventura Bus Lines operate two routes via Beaconsfield station:

  • 836: Berwick station – Eden Rise Shopping Centre[5]
  • 926: Pakenham station – Fountain Gate Shopping Centre[6]
