The Honda CBR650F is a CBR series[4] {{convert|650|cc|cuin|1|abbr=on}} four-cylinder sport touring motorcycle made by Honda. It is manufactured in Thailand by A.P. Honda. It was released in 2014 alongside its naked sibling, the CB650F.[5] The bike replaces the 2011–2013 CBR600F. It is powered by {{convert|649|cc|abbr=on}} liquid-cooled 4-stroke 16-valve DOHC inline-four engine.[6] Though the bike is new from the ground up, it has had 19 years of development.[4] The engine which looks similar to an early model CBR600RR is aimed at more mid-range and low-end than the typical 600 cc supersport bikes.[7] It has about the same specs as the CBR600F2. And like the F2, it has a steel twin-spar frame.[8]

In 2017, the CBR650F received some updates along with the CB650F. The front headlight design is updated with a LED-type light. The side fairing has also been updated. The engine produces a claimed {{convert|66|kW|hp PS|abbr=on|1}} (additional {{convert|2|kW|hp PS|abbr=on|1}}) due to a new intake and exhaust system. The front suspension uses Showa Dual Bending Valve (SDBV) fork, which Honda claims gives firmer compression damping and improved rebound damping. The Nissin brake calipers has also been revised.[2][9]

In 2019, the bike is succeeded by the CBR650R.[10]
