Founding Love for the ElderlyAt the age of 13 while still in middle school, Cramer became inspired by his grandfather's death to make a difference in the lives of the elderly.[1] He started by writing a few cards of kindness to nursing homes, and upon receiving overwhelmingly positive responses from these senior facilities, he decided he could make something out of this concept. So, he began learning everything he could about building a sustainable nonprofit: teaching himself sophisticated search engine optimization techniques, website design, and 501(c)(3) statuses.[2] According to Cramer, the elderly "often don't receive the love they deserve,"[3] and today, his nonprofit operates on a global scale.[4] Public SpeakingCramer's true passion is inspiring others through public speaking. He has given 2 TEDx talks. AccomplishmentsIn 2015, Cramer became the youngest representing member of the World Kindness Movement.[5] In December 2016, he was featured on the front cover of American Profile magazine for his nonprofit work.[6] Following this, in January 2017, he was featured alongside Lady Gaga and Daniel Lubetzky in sister publication Parade.[7] In January 2018, Cramer was announced as one of Lady Gaga's Channel Kindness reporters for her Born this Way Foundation.[8] Early life and educationJacob Eli Cramer was raised in Pepper Pike, Ohio by parents Barry and Kathy Cramer.
