}} Christopher Jake Newberry (born November 20, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball (MLB). CareerNewberry attended Mira Mesa Senior High School in San Diego, California.[1] The Royals selected him in the 37th round of the 2012 MLB draft.
