He received a bachelor's degree from University of Jos in 1982 and also trained at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Nigeria.[2] CareerSeiyefa began his career in 1984 when the State Security Service was known as the National Security Organization.[2] He was appointed as director of Institute of Security Studies, Abuja [3] On August 7, 2018, Acting President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo terminated the appointment of Lawal Musa Daura[4] and appointed Seiyefa[5].
