{{short description|Welsh Anglican priest}}Maurice Jones (b. Trawsfynydd, Merioneth, 21 June 1863; d. Addington 7 Dec. 1957) was a Welsh Anglican priest and author[1] in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.[2]

Jones was educated at Christ College, Brecon and Jesus College, Oxford.He was ordained in 1886.[3] After curacies in Caernarfon and Welshpool he was a Chaplain to the Forces. He was Rector of Rotherfield Peppard from 1915 to 1923; Principal of St David's College, Lampeter from 1923 to 1938; and Rural Dean of Lampeter from 1928 to 1932.
