He is the founder of JustJunk, an award-winning Canadian junk removal service based in St. Catharines. He is also the recipient of the Chamber of Commerce New Business Of The Year Award, Top 40 under 40 award and the Canadian Franchise Associations prestigious Award of Excellence.[1][2] CareerThorne graduated in Economics from Queen's University in 2001. Soon after he was employed at Bell Canada as a control centre manager where he was asked to remove 20 years-worth of office junk. At the time there were no such companies which offered any junk removal services. That was the moment when Thorne realized a need for junk removal services for businesses and residential places around the world.[3][4] Thorne left his job and started JustJunk in 2004 in St. Catharines with the goal to provide an easy junk removal service.
