词条 | Nicodamus (sculptor) |
释义 |
Since Androsthenes conquered in the pancration event in the 90th Olympiad, in 420 BCE,[4] the date of Nicodamus may be placed about that time. German archaeologist and art historian Johannes Overbeck placed Nicodamus in this time with certainty in his Ancient manuscript sources on the history of Greek fine arts (Die antiken Schriftquellen zur Geschichte der bildenden Künste bei den Griechen), which he wrote in 1868.[5] Notes1. ^{{cite book | last =Leake | first =William Martin | authorlink =William Martin Leake | title =The Topography of Athens: With Some Remarks on Its Antiquities | volume =1 | date =1841 | pages =532 | url =https://books.google.ie/books?id=VxsGAAAAQAAJ | accessdate=2016-01-25}} {{DGRBM|author=PS|title=Antiochus|volume=1|page=192|url=http://quod.lib.umich.edu/m/moa/acl3129.0001.001/207}}2. ^{{cite book | last =Sillig | first =Julius | authorlink =Karl Julius Sillig | translator-last = Williams | translator-first =Henry W. | editor-last = Barker | editor-first =Edmund Henry | editor-link = Edmund Henry Barker | title =Dictionary of the Artists of Antiquity: Architects, Carvers, Engravers, Modellers, Painters, Sculptors, Statuaries, and Workers in Bronze, Gold, Ivory, and Silver, with Three Chronological Tables | publisher =Black and Armstrong | date =1836 | pages =84 | url =https://books.google.ie/books?id=3XVFAQAAMAAJ | accessdate=2016-01-25}} 3. ^Pausanias, Description of Greece 5.6.1, 26.5, 6.6.1, 3. g 4, 10.25.4 4. ^Thucydides, 5.49 5. ^{{cite journal | last =Hill | first =Ida Carleton Thallon | title =The Date of Damophon of Messene | journal =American Journal of Archaeology | volume =10 | issue =3 | pages =302–329 | publisher =Archaeological Institute of America | location = | date =1906 | language = | jstor =496986 | doi =10.2307/496986 }} 3 : 5th-century BC Greek people|5th-century BC Greek sculptors|Ancient Arcadian sculptors |
