Prince Gabriel is sixth in the line of succession to the Swedish throne as of June 2018.[1] BirthPrince Gabriel was born on 31 August 2017 at Danderyd Hospital in Danderyd, Sweden. The Prince's full name is Gabriel Carl Walther and substantive title is Duke of Dalarna, which was announced by his grandfather King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden on 4 September 2017.[2] A Te Deum service took place on 4 September 2017, to honour and celebrate the birth of Prince Gabriel.[3] Prince Gabriel was christened on 1 December 2017 at the Chapel of the Drottningholm Palace.
