}}Senyuiedzorm Awusi Adadevoh (born in Dzelukope, Volta Region of Ghana) is a Ghanaian sports photographer and photojournalist based in Accra, Ghana. She started photography in 1999 but went more into sports photography in 2005, where she shot her first football match at the Accra Sports Stadium. She then started working on the senior national football team of Ghana, the Black Stars from 2008.[1] She has travelled the world shooting major sporting events and is the founder of Solvers Ghana, which is made up of ImagesImage & ImagesImage.com (a photo bank where they provide images from Archeology to Zoology with specialisation in SPORTS) a photography company, Sports Unlimited ( A photo journal's mission to give a comprehensive photo reportage on sports men & women of Africa decent, sports events of Africa origin) and Society Unlimited (Provides exclusive photos of the finest in Showbiz, Fashion Trend, Business, Politics & the Academia in Ghana and beyond) .[2]

Early life

She attended the University of Ghana Primary School Legon for her basic education, then went on to attend Aburi Girls' Senior High School for her senior high school education. She received further education at the African Institute of Journalism now African University College of Communications (AUCC) where she obtained a Diploma in Communications Studies Certificate. She is a self-taught photographer who wanted to be a videographer initially before turning to photography.[3]

Career

Senyuiedzorm has shot at some of the major sporting activities in the world including two Olympic Games, two FIFA World Cups in South Africa 2010 and Brazil 2014 respectively, six African Nations Cups which are 2008 Ghana, 2010 Angola, 2012 Gabon/Equatorial Guinea, 2013 South Africa, 2015 Equatorial Guinea and 2017 Gabon.[4][5] She has shot some of the biggest names in sports, recently including Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his father Floyd Sr. She was one of the sports photographers that covered the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight.[6]

Other Projects

  • 2005-1999, Covered friendly charity match between Ghana’s top ex-local players and ex-foreign players. Freelancing for a Ghanaian base societal life style magazine “Enjoy Accra” covering from fashion shows to children’s parties, high societal functions, political demonstrations, independence celebrations and many more.
  • 2006, Had my internship at the Ghana News Agency as second in-house photographer.
  • 2007, Photographed and organized “The Legacy Of War” a photo exhibition depicting what wars leaves us with dissolution resulting to refugees, the proceeds were in aid of a non-profit making charity organization Self Help Initiative at the Bujumbura

Freelancing for KICK-OFF Ghana by selling photos.

Covered the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics (the only Ghanaian photographer).

Covered the 2008 Africa Cup of Nation (Being the only Sub Saharan lady).

Establishing, and publisher edited “Sports Unlimited” a sports photo journal that offers photo reportage of sporting activities and sporting personalities in Africa and beyond. Sports Unlimited is now being published via Internet.

Did national service at Citi FM in Accra as in-house photographer.

  • 2009, Author and publisher “Proudly Ghanaian” a coffee table photo book consisting of artistic photography.
  • 2010, Covered the South Africa 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Contributed in a book “Hopes & dreams” by a group of senior broadcasters such as Farayi Mungazi of BBC, Piers Edwards, Mark Gleeson and others.

Contracted by Vodafone Ghana to cover a group of Ghanaian Premier League Fans from Ghana to London for a Premier League final.

Covered the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations.

  • 2011, Author and publisher "the Hand of Suarez" a photo calendar for 2011.

Covered sports activities such as golf, football, polo, swimming, baseball and other track activities for my sports journal Sports Unlimited.
