释义 |
ReactionKirkus Reviews stated that the authors "investigate the victim's feelings following a crime--disorientation, violation, helplessness--and show how insensitivity (from friends, family, police, etc.) can compound the hurt or, conversely, how tactful crisis intervention can speed the individual's recovery. Theirs is an informal survey (""suggestive rather than definitive"") but victims could read it and benefit from their findings. They include case histories of crime victims, what they share (such as a search for blame) and which are most vulnerable: ironically, victims unharmed physically may suffer more shame and guilt."[4]References1. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.nytimes.com/2004/07/23/nyregion/public-lives-taking-a-stand-where-church-and-state-collide.html|title=PUBLIC LIVES; Taking a Stand Where Church and State Collide|first=Lisa W.|last=Foderaro|date=23 July 2004|publisher=|via=NYTimes.com}} {{DEFAULTSORT:Crime Victim's Book, The}}2. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.nytimes.com/1997/12/14/nyregion/morton-bard-73-authority-on-crime-victims.html|title=Morton Bard, 73, Authority on Crime Victims|first=Eric|last=Pace|date=14 December 1997|publisher=|via=NYTimes.com}} 3. ^{{cite web|url=http://vroh.uakron.edu/NCVRW_Step_5_HistoryMovement_3.php|title=Oral History of the Crime Victim Assistance Field|author=|date=|website=vroh.uakron.edu}} 4. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews/morton-dawn-sangrey-bard/the-crime-victims-book/|title=THE CRIME VICTIM'S BOOK by Morton & Dawn Sangrey Bard - Kirkus Reviews|author=|date=|publisher=}} 2 : 1979 books|Non-fiction crime books |
