ContentThe six-track EP was released on 12"-vinyl and digital download with Mint 400 Records, on 8 September 2009. It was produced by Bryan Russell, and mastered by Mike Kalajian. The Meadow at Dusk is described as alternative folk rock, and draws comparison to the music of Stars and Velocity Girl.{{sfn|Reece|2009}} The album cover for The Meadow at Dusk is from an antique postcard Sabatino found at a thrift store, and the poster included with the album was made up of art contributed from the band members, and by fans.{{sfn|Kundrath|2010}} ReceptionA review by Deborah Draisin in Jersey Beat says the "new tunes make full use of Sam Carradori's sweet vocals as they both chase and compliment Sabatino's husky melodic musings. A clean-sounding guitar takes a bit of a backseat to keys and xylophone, but the effect is actually quite soothing."
