Tobsha Learner is a feminist author of historical novels and erotic short stories and plays. As T. S. Learner she writes psychological thrillers. LifeLearner was born in Cambridge, England in 1959 to parents of Polish/Jewish background and she grew up in an atheist household. On leaving school she studied sculpture in London.[1] Learner has lived and worked in Australia (seven years in Melbourne and six in Sydney), California and London.[2][3] Her first collection of short stories, Quiver, sold 150,000 copies worldwide.[4] In 1989 Learner was one of the founding sponsors of the National Foundation for Australian Women.[5] Her "Literary papers, 1983-1992", are held by the Mitchell Library at the State Library of New South Wales.[6] PublicationsNovels
