词条 | Wind tomb |
释义 |
A wind tomb (or seance grave, wind grave; Vietnamese "Mộ gió") is an empty tomb that does not contain a person's corpse. As with "wind graves", which are "land mounds" or rounded masses projected above the ground, wind tombs are typically made by families or loved ones to commemorate a person whose body cannot be found, such as those lost at sea or who have died in combat.[1] See alsoVeneration of the dead in VietnamReferences1. ^{{Cite web|url=http://www.vanhoahoc.edu.vn/nghien-cuu/van-hoa-viet-nam/van-hoa-to-chuc-doi-song-ca-nhan/2076-le-hong-khanh-mo-gio-hinh-nhan-va-le-khao-le-the-linh-hoang-sa-.html|title=wind tomb, human and military ceremony that longing margin Paracel Then and Now Magazine, No. 353, page 53.|date=|website=vanhoahoc.edu.vn (Trung tâm Văn hóa học Lý luận và Ứng dụng)|author=Le Hong Khanh}} {{Vietnam-stub}} 2 : Monuments and memorials in Vietnam|Tombs in Vietnam |
