The beast destroys the castle and kills all of Millinear’s citizens, but Aisya is spared. She discovers, that she can summon her lost friends and allies from piles of ash. Their bodies are made of ash, but their souls remain, giving them the power to assist Aisya in her quest to revive all of her kingdom’s remaining inhabitants. Among them is her surrogate father and bodyguard Bullnequ, who holds a very close relationship with Aisya. As the story moves forth, characters like the warrior Dan, the psychic child Emu, the double agent Cootorolan and the mysterious Jeekawen appear. ReleaseASH: Archaic Sealed Heat was released on October 4, 2007 in Japan as the first DS game released on a 2 gigabit game card. Nintendo of America was working on an English version of ASH which never materialized, despite English voice actors being hired and an ESRB confirmation.[1]There was a fan translation attempt by psycoblaster, and while the translation had completed and entered the testing phase, the translator lost all the data of the game which he had stored on an USB flash drive.[2] It is unclear if the game is still being worked on as there have been no updates on progress since 2010. A ROM of the complete but untested version of the translation was eventually leaked to the public.[3] ReceptionASH received a review score of 33/40 from Famitsu.[4] The game sold 67,000 copies in Japan as of October 22, 2007.[5]Other video games and mediaAisya appears as a Spirit character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.[6] References1. ^Siliconera » Nintendo Hired English Voice Actors For Mistwalker’s Archaic Sealed Heat 2. ^[https://pbtrans.wordpress.com/2010/09/06/working/ pbtrans - Working] 3. ^GBAtemp - ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat Translation Patch leaked 4. ^ASH - Famitsu Scores Archive {{webarchive |url=https://web.archive.org/web/20081216041857/http://fs.finalfantasytr.com/search.asp?query=ASH |date=December 16, 2008 }} 5. ^Siliconera » The mixed flames of ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat 6. ^[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fccgHnBQ0YM&t=2414/ YouTube - Nintendo - Super Smash Bros.
