}} The chestnut bulbul (Hemixos castanonotus), or chestnut-backed bulbul, is a species of songbird in the bulbul family, Pycnonotidae. It is found in southern China and northern Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
