It is a part of the municipality of Sittard-Geleen. It lies about 8 km north-west of Sittard, on the right bank of the river Meuse. Grevenbicht was a separate municipality until 1982, when it was merged with Born.[1] CultureIn Grevenbicht 'goose pulling' is part of the traditional Shrove Tuesday celebrations.
