It is built of wood and bricks and has a concrete flooring. It has three staircases from all corners of 82nd Street and Roosevelt Avenue except the southeast one and a token booth in the center.[14] Two turnstile banks at either ends lead to a waiting area/crossunder and one staircase to each platform at the center.[15] {{-|left}}References1. ^{{NYCS const|riderref}} 2. ^{{cite web|url=http://web.mta.info/maps/neighborhoods/qns/Q2_Corona2015.pdf|title=MTA Neighborhood Maps: Corona|date=2015|publisher=Metropolitan Transportation Authority|accessdate=September 20, 2015}} 3. ^1 {{NYCS const|timetable|7}} 4. ^{{cite news|url=https://www.nytimes.com/1917/04/22/archives/transit-service-on-corona-extension-of-dual-subway-system-opened-to.html|title=Transit Service on Corona Extension of Dual Subway System Opened to the Public|date=April 22, 1917|newspaper=The New York Times|page=RE1|accessdate=October 2, 2011}} 5. ^1 {{cite news |title=Changes Station Name |url=http://fultonhistory.com/highlighter/highlight-for-xml?altUrl=http%3A%2F%2Ffultonhistory.com%2FNewspapers%25206%2FNew%2520York%2520NY%2520Evening%2520Telegram%2FNew%2520York%2520NY%2520Evening%2520Telegram%25201921%2520Mar%2520-%2520Apr%2520Grayscale%2FNew%2520York%2520NY%2520Evening%2520Telegram%25201921%2520Mar%2520-%2520Apr%2520Grayscale%2520-%25200202.pdf|accessdate=July 3, 2018 |work=The Evening Telegram |date=March 11, 1921 |page=11|via=Fultonhistory.com}} 6. ^{{cite news |title=Hearing on Change of "L" Station Name |url=http://fultonhistory.com/highlighter/highlight-for-xml?altUrl=http%3A%2F%2Ffultonhistory.com%2FNewspaper%252015%2FBrooklyn%2520NY%2520Daily%2520Star%2FBrooklyn%2520NY%2520Daily%2520Star%25201925%2FBrooklyn%2520NY%2520Daily%2520Star%25201925%2520-%25200512.pdf|accessdate=July 3, 2018 |work=The Daily Star |date=February 20, 1925|page=2|via=Fultonhistory.com}} 7. ^1 {{cite news |title=New Subway Station Name |url=http://fultonhistory.com/highlighter/highlight-for-xml?altUrl=http%3A%2F%2Ffultonhistory.com%2FNewspaper%252024%2FNew%2520York%2520NY%2520Telegram%2520and%2520Evening%2520Mail%2FNew%2520York%2520NY%2520Telegram%2520and%2520Evening%2520Mail%25201925%2520Mar-Apr%2FNew%2520York%2520NY%2520Telegram%2520and%2520Evening%2520Mail%25201925%2520Mar-Apr%2520-%25200708.pdf|accessdate=July 3, 2018 |work=The New York Telegram and Evening Mail |date=April 3, 1925 |page=7|via=Fultonhistory.com}} 8. ^{{Cite book|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=MrAjAQAAMAAJ|title=Minutes and Proceedings|last=Authority|first=New York City Transit|date=1955|publisher=|year=|isbn=|location=|pages=|language=en|via=}} 9. ^{{cite news|last1=Gargan|first1=Edward A.|title=AGENCY LISTS ITS 69 MOST DETERIORATED SUBWAY STATIONS|url=https://www.nytimes.com/1981/06/11/nyregion/agency-lists-its-69-most-deteriorated-subway-stations.html|accessdate=August 13, 2016|work=The New York Times|date=June 11, 1981}} 10. ^{{NYCS const|trackref|trackbook3}} 11. ^{{Cite web|url=http://www.subwaynut.com/flushing_line/82_jackson/82_jackson8.jpg|title=Walking down the platform|last=Cox|first=Jeremiah|date=June 19, 2011|website=subwaynut.com|archive-url=|archive-date=|dead-url=|access-date=March 7, 2018}} 12. ^{{Cite web|url=http://www.subwaynut.com/flushing_line/82_jackson/82_jackson6.jpg|title=An 82 St-Jackson Heights platform sign above little leaning benches|last=Cox|first=Jeremiah|date=June 19, 2011|website=subwaynut.com|archive-url=|archive-date=|dead-url=|access-date=March 7, 2018}} 13. ^{{Cite web|url=http://www.subwaynut.com/flushing_line/82_jackson/82_jackson9.jpg|title=Large metal 82s are on each platform between the two staircases|last=Cox|first=Jeremiah|date=June 19, 2011|website=subwaynut.com|archive-url=|archive-date=|dead-url=|access-date=March 7, 2018}} 14. ^{{cite web|title=MTA Neighborhood Maps: Corona|url=http://web.mta.info/maps/neighborhoods/qns/Q2_Corona2015.pdf|publisher=Metropolitan Transportation Authority|accessdate=September 20, 2015|date=2015}} 15. ^{{Cite web|url=https://www.nycsubway.org/perl/show?142151|title=82nd Street–Jackson Heights Token Booth|last=Wong|first=Kevin|date=February 22, 2014|website=nycsubway.org|archive-url=|archive-date=|dead-url=|access-date=March 7, 2018}} External links{{Commonscat|82nd Street – Jackson Heights (IRT Flushing Line)}}
