Jorrit van der Kooi (born August 8, 1972 in Rheden, Gelderland) is a Dutch-born film and TV director and presenter. Early careerIn 2001 he sold his own idea for a TV show: "Rodeo Drive". It is about the life of millionaires in Beverly Hills. It was sold to Dutch national TV and aired during the 2001 season. Jorrit hosted and directed this 10 episode series. After this he became an established director for many prime time TV shows in the Netherlands. In 2009 his well received documentary about Elvis and Colonel Parker had a theatrical premiere and aired on Dutch national TV. in 2011 he co presented and produced the successful TV series Ranking the Cars.
