Crescent City Records was a New Orleans, Louisiana based record label from the late 1940s into the 1980s. The label issued a number of New Orleans music performers as well as artists from elsewhere, in styles including Dixieland jazz, funk , Soul, and other musics, at first on 78rpm shellac, later on 45 and 33& 1/3 vinyl. The label released the first single of the band The Wild Magnolias in 1970.
