It is 57 km from Jaipur.It is sitituate at NH 11 (Now NH 52) Reengus is mainly famous due to its proximity to Khatushyamji the lord of Yadav. The temple of Bhairava is located in the town. The town has a girl's college. Reengus railway station is a junction. Demographics{{As of|2011}} India census,[2] Reengus had a population of 26,139. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Reengus has an average literacy rate of 62%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 75%, and female literacy is 48%. In Reengus, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.ThakursIn 1487 AD, Rao Prithviraj Singh II of Sikar granted Ringas to his second son Rao Chandrapratap Singh for his style of administration and bravery. 1. The temple of Bhairava is located here. An inn (dharmshala) near the temple provides accommodation to the devotees. [Buchi Sati] Buchi Sati Temple is also located in the heart of ringas. Railway station junctionRingas Junction is an important railway station located here. Earlier all the tracks were metre gauge. Now the track from Rewari, Narnaul and Neem-Ka-Thana in the north to Phulera and Ajmer in the south is {{RailGauge|1676mm}} broad gauge since 2009. The track from Ringas to Jaipur towards the east is being converted to broad gauge.The track to Sikar towards the west is now broad gauge. Chandigarh-Mumbai Bandra Express, Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Mumbai Bandra Express, Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Udaipur City Chetak Express and Ajmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla JanShatabdi express are important trains stopping at Ringas railway station. The Western Dedicated Freight Corrider WDFC passes through Ringas and it is operational till Madar near Ajmer.
