In the 2016 Businessweek survey, the school ranked 40th among all undergraduate business schools.[5] Miami University's business school is a member of the AACSB[6] and is named for him after Richard Farmer and his wife, Joyce (Barnes) Farmer, who provided the cornerstone gift to the school of business in 1992.
