释义 |
In Irish mythology, Fiacha ({{IPA-ga|ˈfʲiːəxə}}, sometimes Fiachu, Fiachra or Fiachna), son of Delbáeth, of the Tuatha Dé Danann, was a legendary High King of Ireland. According to the Lebor Gabála Érenn, he took the throne after his father was overthrown by Caicher son of Nama, brother of Nechtan.[1] The Annals of the Four Masters and Geoffrey Keating say he overthrew his father himself.[2] His mother was Ernmas. He had three daughters, Banba, Fódla, and Ériu, by his own mother.[3] He reigned for ten years, before he and his nephew Aoi Mac Ollamain were killed in battle against Éogan of Imber.[1] References1. ^1 Lebor Gabála Érenn §63 {{s-start}}{{s-bef|before=Delbáeth}}{{s-ttl|title=High King of Ireland|years=AFM 1740–1730 BC2. ^Annals of the Four Masters [https://celt.ucc.ie//published/T100005A/text004.html M3451], [https://celt.ucc.ie//published/T100005A/text005.html M3470]; Geoffrey Keating, History of Ireland [https://celt.ucc.ie//published/T100054/text021.html 1.11], [https://celt.ucc.ie//published/T100054/text022.html 1.12] 3. ^Lebor Gabála Érenn §64 FFE 1327–1317 BC}}{{s-aft|after=Mac Cuill, Mac Cecht and Mac Gréine}}{{s-end}}{{Irish mythology (mythological)}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Fiacha Mac Delbaith}}{{celt-myth-stub}} 2 : Tuatha Dé Danann|Legendary High Kings of Ireland |
