As of the 2010 census, its population was 5,270 and it contained 2,300 housing units.[2] GeographyTolono is Township 18 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian. According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of {{convert|35.63|sqmi}}, of which {{convert|35.61|sqmi}} (or 99.94%) is land and {{convert|0.02|sqmi}} (or 0.06%) is water.[2] The stream of Page Run runs through this township.
