BiographyBorn in Moscow, Soviet Union (now Russia), Miller made aliyah to Israel on 29 January 1992. He gained a BA in education with a specialization in electronics. For the 2006 Knesset elections he was placed tenth on the Yisrael Beiteinu list,[1] and became a Knesset member when the party won 11 seats. During his first term he chaired the subcommittee for alternative energy sources.[2] Moved down to fifteenth on the party's list for the 2009 elections,[3] Miller barely retained his seat as Yisrael Beitenu won 15 seats. For the 2013 elections he was placed 33rd on the joint Likud Yisrael Beiteinu list,[4] and lost his seat as the alliance won only 31 seats. However, he returned to the Knesset on 6 August 2014 as a replacement for Carmel Shama,[5] who resigned after becoming Israel's envoy to the OECD.[6] He was placed eleventh on the party's list for the 2015 elections,[7] losing his seat when the party was reduced to six seats. Miller currently lives in the Israeli settlement of Ariel and is married with one child.[2] References1. ^[https://www.knesset.gov.il/elections17/eng/list/list_eng.asp?id=39 List of Candidates: Yisrael Beiteinu] Knesset website (2006 elections) 2. ^1 [https://www.knesset.gov.il/mk/eng/mk_eng.asp?mk_individual_id_t=785 Knesset profile] 3. ^{{cite news |last=JTA Staff |title=The party lists for Feb. 10 |work= |page= |date=Feb 2, 2009 |accessdate=June 6, 2009 |quote= |url=http://jta.org/news/article/2009/02/02/1002697/party-lists}} 4. ^Likud Yisrael Beiteinu Central Elections Committee 5. ^[https://www.knesset.gov.il/mk/eng/MKIndex_Current_eng.asp?view=5 Replacements Among Knesset Members] Knesset website 6. ^Yisrael Beytenu MK replaces Likud lawmaker in Knesset shakeup Times of Israel, 6 August 2014 7. ^Yisrael Beiteinu list Central Elections Committee {{he icon}} External links
