Bedok North MRT station (DT29) is an underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Downtown Line in the northern part of Bedok, Singapore, located along Bedok North Road, near the Pan-Island Expressway flyover.

History

During the station's construction phase, the station's working name was Bedok Town Park. After a public voting exercise, the station name was finalised to be Bedok North, as announced by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) in August 2011.^[1]^[2]

Construction had only started on 6 June 2011, with two hoardings being sealed at Blk 620 and the implementation of overhead bridge structure. Road realignment has started since then for Bedok North Road.

The station opened on 21 October 2017, as announced by the LTA on 31 May 2017.^[3]
