In February 2010, Café Café had 112 locations, making it the largest coffee chain in the country and overtaking Aroma Espresso Bar.[1] Each location is individually designed to reflect the character of the neighborhood where it is located.[1] The chain has 151 locations in Israel and Europe.[2] HistoryCafé Café was founded in 2001 by Ronen Nimni. The first location opened on Masaryk Square in Tel Aviv.[1] The chain experienced a fast growth and in 2010 had 112 locations.[1] In 2015, the Tel Aviv Regional Labor Court fined a franchisee of the chain 30,000NIS for racial discrimination after refusing to hire an Israeli-Arab trainee on the grounds that the cafe was kosher.[3] In 2016, about 12% of Israelis say Café Café is their favorite chain.[4] See also{{portal|Coffee}}
