HMAS Macquarie (K532/F532) was a {{sclass2-|River|frigate}} constructed during World War II which served in the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). ConstructionMacquarie was laid down by Morts Dock and Engineering Company at Balmain, New South Wales.[1] She was launched on 3 March 1945, and commissioned into the RAN on 7 December 1945.[1]Macquarie was one of eight River-class frigates constructed in Australia for service in the RAN.[1] She was named after the Macquarie River in New South Wales.
