}} The Church at Pinnacle Hills is a campus of the First Baptist Church of Springdale, located in Rogers, Arkansas. It is located twenty minutes north of the Springdale campus. This location was launched in 2001 by approximately 350 members of the Springdale campus under the direction of senior pastor Dr. Ronnie Floyd. It is the largest church in the state of Arkansas, with a membership of over 16,000. The church is considered a megachurch and is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention of churches. HistoryCross Church Pinnacle Hills was launched in 2001 as "The Church at Pinnacle Hills" by the First Baptist Church of Springdale. Initially 350 members from the Springdale campus moved to the Pinnacle campus to plant the new location. The church first met in a converted office building located in the Pinnacle Hills Corporate Park area. The original facility had a capacity of approximately 800 people and contained the church's main offices. The church leased surrounding buildings to house their children's ministries and other office space until the 2006 relocation. In September 2010, the two congregations of First Baptist Church of Springdale and The Church at Pinnacle Hills in Rogers changed their name to Cross Church, in an effort to clarify, simplify, and strengthen their identity as a single church, with a mission to reach Northwest Arkansas, America, and the world for Jesus Christ. On November 12, 2006 the church moved into its current facility located at 2448 Pinnacle Hills Parkway in Rogers. The new facility is 169,734 sq. ft. in size and contains a main worship facility, preschool space, children's worship space, connection rooms, offices and a large gathering area known as the Gatheria. The main worship facility seats 2,384 people and is used for Sunday worship, weekly prayer services, rehearsals and other various special events. The prominent feature of the worship center is the 6,000 sq. ft. window that serves as the backdrop for the stage.[1] The building includes a full High-definition television broadcast facility, recording studio and an editing suite. The predominant feature of the campus and grounds are the three white crosses standing 175', 165', and 145' in height surrounding a baptistery. TheologyAs a member of the Southern Baptist Convention of churches, The Church at Pinnacle Hills adheres to the Baptist Faith and Message (BF&M) as their primary statement of faith. .[2] References1. ^Tucker Sadler Architects, Religious Facilities {{Coord|36.31386|-94.18809|format=dms|display=title|type:landmark_region:US-AR}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Church At Pinnacle Hills}}{{Arkansas-church-stub}}2. ^The Church at Pinnacle Hills, What We Believe {{webarchive|url=https://archive.is/20090927111858/http://pinnacle.reachforlife.tv/about-2/what-we-believe/ |date=2009-09-27 }} 5 : Churches in Benton County, Arkansas|Baptist churches in Arkansas|Evangelical megachurches in the United States|Religious organizations established in 2001|2001 establishments in Arkansas |
