Horseshoe Bend is located {{convert|5|mi|km}} downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell within Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, about {{convert|4|mi|km}} southwest of Page.[3] It is accessible via hiking a {{convert|1.5|mi|km|adj=on}} round trip from U.S. Route 89.
