It is a short stream, {{convert|5.6|mi}} long,[1] flowing northeast from Crooked Lake at {{coord|45|25|58|N|84|47|19|W|region:US-MI_type:river_source:GNIS}} near Alanson into Burt Lake at {{coord|45|28|14|N|84|43|38|W|region:US-MI_type:river_source:GNIS}}.[2] It forms part of the Inland Waterway of Michigan.
