The mall currently has more than 40 interior shops.. A Walmart Supercenter is located next door[1] and Lowe's is located across the boulevard. The mall also has area stores and restaurants that include: Piccadilly Cafeterias, McDonald's, First Bank, Blockbuster, Burger King, Ruby Tuesday, Pike County National Bank, BP Gas Station, China Buffet, Radio Shack, Walgreens, Holiday Inn Express, and the Kahalaf Plaza. History

Edgewood Mall, the first enclosed shopping center in McComb, was built in 1987 by Prescott Sherman.[2][3] Anchored by JCPenney, Beall-Ladymon, and Walmart, the mall opened its doors in July 1987 with a total {{convert|236324|sqft|m2|0}} of retail space.[4] The mall was built on land owned by the Sherman family.[5][6]

In 1994, the Beall-Ladymon chain was bought out and converted to a Stage department store in early 1995.[7] Sears replaced the former Walmart anchor space, vacated in 1998 when Walmart built a Supercenter next door, in March 1999. A major overhaul of the mall in 1999 included a {{convert|15466|sqft|m2|0}} expansion of the JCPenney anchor, construction of an additional {{convert|25000|sqft|m2|0}} of space for specialty shops, and addition of fourth large ({{convert|71798|sqft|m2|0}}) anchor, Mississippi-based McRae's.[8] This expansion, capped by a grand re-opening in September 1999, left the mall with over {{convert|400000|sqft|m2|0}} of retail space.[8][4]

In 2002, Mississippi Business Journal reported that Prescott Sherman had given $2 million to the School of Engineering at the University of Mississippi from the Edgewood Mall.[3][9] Sears closed in 2012.[10] A Hobby Lobby replaced half of the Sears anchor space in 2015, making the store the only non-enclosed store of Edgewood Mall to date. In 2016, Marshall's took the other half of the former Sears anchor space.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol's driver's license examiner's office relocated from the Magnolia Community Center in Magnolia, Mississippi, to Edgewood Mall in 2001.[14] Opening its doors on September 4, 2001, this office was located at the north entrance of the mall between JCPenney and McRae's.[14] In February 2007, the Mississippi Department of Public Safety announced that the office was being forced to relocate by the end of March 2007 because their space in the mall had been acquired by another party.[15]
