Daura was retired from the police force.[3] President Umaru Yar'Adua appointed Daura to the Police Service Commission (PSC) in 2008 as a permanent member.[3][4] Nuhu Ribadu, who had been appointed chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission by president Olusegun Obasanjo and later dismissed by Yar'Adua, described Daura as the most unqualified and unsuitable person, referring to his earlier recommended prosecution of Daura.[5] The PSC had recently demoted Ribadu from an Assistant Inspector-General of Police to a Deputy Commissioner of Police.[6] Daura led the PSC monitoring team during the February 2010 elections in Anambra State. His report said that the police behaved well, but that ballot boxes were removed at some polling stations.[7] References1. ^{{cite web |url = http://www.bayelsa.gov.ng/new/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=109:bayelsa-state&catid=47:the-state&Itemid=111 |title = Bayelsa State |publisher = Bayelsa State Government |accessdate = 2010-05-11 |archive-url = https://web.archive.org/web/20110724143253/http://www.bayelsa.gov.ng/new/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=109:bayelsa-state&catid=47:the-state&Itemid=111# |archive-date = 2011-07-24 |dead-url = yes |df = }} {{BayelsaGovernors}}{{Nigeria Abacha Governors}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Daura, Habu}}{{Nigeria-mil-bio-stub}}2. ^{{cite web |url=http://www.worldstatesmen.org/Nigeria_federal_states.htm |title=Nigerian States |publisher=WorldStatesmen |accessdate=2010-05-11}} 3. ^1 {{cite web |url = http://www.noprin.org/policenews.html |work = PEOPLES DAILY |date = December 8–14, 2008 |title = Yar’Adua puts indicted ex-CP on Police Service Commission |accessdate = 2010-05-11 |archive-url = https://web.archive.org/web/20100419071249/http://www.noprin.org/policenews.html# |archive-date = 2010-04-19 |dead-url = yes |df = }} 4. ^{{cite web |url=http://www.psc.gov.ng/node/133 |title=ALHAJI HABU DAURA Permanent Member |publisher=Police Service Commission |accessdate=2010-05-11}} 5. ^{{cite web |url=http://odili.net/news/source/2008/oct/30/800.html |date=October 30, 2008 |title=My life in danger —Ribadu |work=Daily Champion |author=FRIDAY OLOKOR |accessdate=2010-05-11}} {{Dead link|date=October 2010|bot=H3llBot}} 6. ^{{cite web |url=http://allafrica.com/stories/200810300953.html |title=Demotion - Ribadu Sues FG |work=ThisDay |author=Davidson Iriekpen |date=30 October 2008 |accessdate=2010-05-11}} 7. ^{{cite web |url=http://allafrica.com/stories/201002080616.html |title=Anambra - PSC Accuses Politicians of Ballot Box Snatching |work=Daily Trust |author=Misbahu Bashir |date=8 February 2010 |accessdate=2010-05-11}} 3 : Possibly living people|Year of birth missing|Governors of Bayelsa State |
