Marescot Point ({{coord|63|29|S|58|35|W|source:GNIS|display=inline,title}}) is a small but distinctive low rocky point projecting north from Trinity Peninsula, Antarctica, {{Convert|2.5|nmi|km|0}} east of Thanaron Point. This feature is a reidentification of Captain Jules Dumont d'Urville's original "Cap Marescot," named after Jacques Marescot du Thilleul (1808–39), an ensign on the Astrolabe during d'Urville's expedition (1837–40), who died during the voyage.Map- [https://web.archive.org/web/20131002100340/http://www.bkg.bund.de/nn_193194/DE/Bundesamt/Downloads/Kostenlose-Karten/Antarktis-Karten/Satellitenbildkarten/Scale250/Daten/Trinity-Peninsula%2CtemplateId%3Draw%2Cproperty%3DpublicationFile.pdf/Trinity-Peninsula.pdf Trinity Peninsula.] Scale 1:250000 topographic map No. 5697.
