The Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers Men's Soccer team represented Mount St. Mary's University from 1953 and in the Northeast Conference of NCAA Division I college soccer from 1988 through 2012. The sport was discontinued for financial reasons following the 2012 season. On August 29, 2016, the university and the NCAA announced the return of the sport for the 2018 season.[1]
