}}{{nihongo|Nakaba Suzuki|鈴木央|Suzuki Nakaba|born February 8, 1977 in Sukagawa, Fukushima}} is a Japanese manga artist. Suzuki has been published in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump, Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday and Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine.

Life and career

The first manga series he ever bought was Dr. Slump by Akira Toriyama. In elementary and junior high school, he was a fan of Kinnikuman, Fist of the North Star, and Dragon Ball.[1] He made his professional debut in 1994 with the story "Revenge", which was an honorable mention for Shueisha's Hot Step Award.

He has been writing The Seven Deadly Sins since 2012. It has sold over 28 million copies as of July 2018 and earned him the 39th Kodansha Manga Award for Best Shōnen Manga alongside Yowamushi Pedal.[2][3]
