Peter Miles Anson Sherwood is Dean, College of Arts and Sciences at Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma, United States.^[1] He is also a Regents Professor of Physics at Oklahoma State University^[2] and a University Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Chemistry at Kansas State University.^[3]

He obtained his B.Sc., St. Andrews University, Scotland, Chemistry; M.A., Ph.D., Sc.D. Cambridge University.^[1]
