So, they influence Buchabbai to remove Ranga from the service. Distressed, Ranga starts a strike in front of Buchabbai's bungalow in a tent. After a few comic scenes, Ranga & Ratnamala fall in love. Here Ranga comes to know that Buchabbai wants to make the rich alliance with his daughters whereas he is only an ordinary school teacher's (Raavi Kondala Rao) son. Therefore, Ranga plots, call his best friend none other than Vasu and showcase him as his old father in the disguise who is a multi-millionaire Srinivasa Bhupathi. Now Buchabbai pleads Srinivasa Bhupathi to agree for the marriage of Ratnamala with Ranga. After some time, Vasu brings out his real identity before Kanchanamala & Ratnamala when they too decide to help them. Parallelly, a sidetrack runs, Varahala Raju always teases & suffers his father for money to produce the film, he chooses their manager Yedukondalu's (Allu Ramalingaiah) daughter Meenakshi (Girija) as his heroine and trains her when they love each other. Meanwhile, Subbarayudu reaches Buchabbai's estate, surprisingly, both of them are childhood friends and in the conversation, they fix the match of Vasu & Kanchanamala. Vasu gets shocked seeing his father but feels happy knowing that his marriage is decided with Kanchanamala. Unfortunately, one day, Subbarayadu accidentally meets Ranga's father, learns the truth and he informs Buchabbai. Both of them give Police complaint against Ranga & Vasu, they also give instructions to Ratna & Kanchana to be careful but they reveal it to their fiance. Immediately, Ranga gets an idea and makes everyone believe that he is two and confuses them. Buchabbai & Subbarayadu soon rushes to take back the complaint but to their misfortune, it is too late and Ranga & Vasu get arrested. Pullaiah insisted Master Venu to retain the tunes from original film in Telugu, which Venu was not okay with it. He expressed his concern to Pullaiah's wife Santhakumari who encouraged him having faith in talent. Except the song "Vennela Rayi", other songs were retained from original. "Vennela Rayi" was the replacement for song "Naalam Naalam".[5] This tune was retained despite Pullaiah expressing his anger for using a new tune.[5]
