}}Ramadu is the stage name of Dumisani Moyo, a Zimbabwean musician.[1] Ramadu was born on 26 June 1975 in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. He began his career as a professional musician by joining imbube group Insingizi in 1990 formally known as Insingizi Emnyama. Ramadu recorded his first successful solo album “Izambulelo” in 2001 which was released in UK by ARC Music which sold more than 50.000 copies and some of his songs being used in Documentaries and Movies in the USA such as PHAT GIRLS. The album presents a mixture of traditional and modern sounds, his own compositions and traditional songs from Zimbabwe. Together with Vusa Mkhaya, Blessings “Nqo” Nkomo they still keep Insingizi alive through performances all over Europe and North America.
