William G. Jacoby (born {{abbr|c.|circa}} 1953) is an expert on public opinion and voting behavior. [1][2] He was editor in chief of the American Journal of Political Science until 2018 when he voluntarily stepped down after allegations of sexual harassment of a former student. [3] Both the University of Michigan and Michigan State University later found that he had sexually harassed female graduate students.[4] He retired from Michigan State University on Jan. 1, 2019.
