The current artistic director is Rosemary Myers.[2] Since 2002, it has grown into a leading national company. The founding director and creative producer was Cate Fowler (through 2007). The founding patron was children's author Mem Fox (through 2007). Windmill performs a season in Adelaide yearly, with shows also touring through regional South Australia and interstate.
